ART INSTITUTE CHICAGO: 111 South Michigan Avenue Chicago, IL 60603
Visit the Art Institute of Chicago and catch the last few days of the Van Gogh and the Avant-Garde: The Modern Landscape exhibit. More than 75 works of art are displayed – many from private collections – so visit while you still can.
HARRIS FEST MUSIC AND DANCE IN THE PARK: Saturday, September 9th 2023 at Millennium Park 10am-9pm
You can then make your way to Millenium Park and take in the pop up performances spanning from Ballet to contemporary dance and musical series from classical to opera with free workshops. This family friendly fest is a Chicago celebration of the arts and fun for the entire family.

As the cooler months are about to start, take a cooking class at Eataly in River North. Book your tickets with a buddy and put together a lovely Italian meal that you can recreate at home during the colder months. Don’t forget to treat yourself to a bottle of wine or sparkling Italian soda and a delectable dessert to close out your meal.
OKTOBERFEST: September 8, 9,10 – Lincoln Square (at the corner of Lincoln & Western)
Celebrate Oktoberfest in Lincoln Square and welcome the change in air temps with a crisp beer and bratwurst! Try authentic German foods as you listen to live music and take in the lively fest with activities for everyone and live performances throughout the weekend.
RIVER CRUISE
End the summer with a cruise along the River. Take in all the architecture that Chicago has to offer as you sip a beverage and watch the city lights start to twinkle as the sun sets.
