A SUCCESS STORY:

Why is house not selling

Below are the details surrounding one of my recent sales from March 2018 at the Aqua building in Chicago’s Lakeshore East neighborhood. It is a luxury building with many units selling upwards of $1,000,000.

 

THE BACKSTORY:

When I first spoke with the seller’s of this luxury condo, their listing agreement with another real estate agent had just expired.

After almost 12 months on the market and dozens of showings, they had recieved zero offers.

Needless to say, they were very frustrated…

Working together, we customized a new marketing plan, took new photos and re-listed the condo (at the same price).

 

THE RESULTS:

After just 13 days on the market, the seller happily accepted an offer for $900,000. 97% of the asking price!

The sale closed 33 days later.

As you can see in the listing history above, utilizing the new marketing ideas and updated listing I was able to find a buyer in just 13 days. Before it was eventually cancelled, the previous listing (red) was on the market for 338 days.
